Phase 2 addition’s aquatics component includes an 8-lane 25 meter competition-ready lap pool, a zero entry shallow leisure pool, water slide and family-friendly universal change facilities. The fitness facility consists of a mezzanine track overlooking a large field-house type area for weight-training and cardio equipment, a large aerobics studio, a smaller yoga studio, and separate male & female change rooms (which also provide access to steam rooms and to the natatorium).
Exterior amenities include a 15,700 s.f. lamella structure covered 3-on-3 ice rink (which doubles as performance or other hard surface use space during the summer), a water play area, a quiet, treed plaza adjacent to the refurbished historical Doherty-Fitzpatrick farmhouse, and a lookout structure which provides scenic views of the naturalized landscaping and irrigation & storm water management pond. Phase 3 is planned to incorporate a 150,000 s.f. cricket/soccer fieldhouse with full development of the 143 acre park.
