We recognize the responsibilities of all Treaty peoples - including those who came here as settlers or as migrants, either in this generation or in generations past and those of us who came here involuntarily, particularly as a result of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.

ZAS Architects + Interiors recognizes that truth and reconciliation is a continuous process and while this land acknowledgement is a crucial step, there is more work to do. We are committed to continuing to foster positive relationships with Indigenous peoples, the larger community, and the environment, in the spirit of peace, friendship and respect.

We are grateful to work and design on this land and aim to build communities for the future with design excellence and a commitment to education, inclusion, and sustainability for generations to come.
